This Award has been instituted out of an endowment received from Dr. Ranjeeta Sapam in honour of her mother Dr. Kh. Tamubi Devi, a qualified dermatologist of Manipur. This award will be given every year starting 2014 at the CUTICON Manipur to the best original papers selected among those presented by the post graduate students and fresh MDs with less than one year of completion. The winner of the award will be decided by the judges selected by the organizing committee. This award carries a value of Rs.3000/- for the first prize, Rs.2000/- for the 2nd prize and Rs.1000/- for the 3rd prize.
About Dr. Kh. Tamubi Devi:
Dr Kh Tamubi Devi was born on 25th June 1948. She is now 66 yrs old. She completed her MBBS in the year 1974 and soon after joined the State health department as Medical Officer. She completed her MD in the year 1982. Her thesis was on “”Photo chemotherapy in psoriasis””. Her special area of interest is on psoriasis and vitiligo. Dr. Kh. Tamubi Devi is a very qualified dermatologist of Manipur and has many contributions towards the health care of Manipur. She took retirement in the year 2006 as a consultant dermatologist.
